River Productions was created in November 2009 by Laura Catherine Kressly and Paul Christopher Mooney. The two founders met whilst working as performers and head actors at Tulleys Farm for their Halloween season. Shortly after completing their contracts at Tulleys, they met to discuss a production idea Laura had for an outdoor space on London's Southbank. This conversation revealed many shared artistic goals and philosophies and creative inspiration from common sources. From their similar passions, Paul and Laura created River Productions.

Mission Statement

River Productions seeks inspiration for their repertoire from contemporary London, its two thousand years of history, and the river Thames, the lifeblood of the city. From this influence, River Productions aims to produce a diverse range of theatre, from children's theatre to re-envisioned classics to new writing, relevant to a wide demographic of contemporary audiences.

Company Goals

- to produce theatre relevant to a wide range of audiences

- to provide artists with an arena to showcase their skills

- to showcase new writing from playwrights at the onset of their careers

- to create an education programme

- to ultimately create a repertory company of actors, directors and writers
